Moby

moby night photography

This was taken at Lion Castle, in the middle of the island. It was the first time I tried taking a photograph of the stars.

There are not that many places on the island where you can avoid the light pollution.

That’s the yellow glow on the left. The light on the right is the afterglow from the sun.

While taking a few test shots a car drove past and I realized it could add an interesting element.

I increased my exposure time and waited for another car to pass, hoping that the stars wouldn’t blur too much.

Once I got home and started processing the image I realized I had also caught a whale hiding in the clouds.
